ACMS began in 1998 when Aaron Clune, owner and director of ACMS, began his career as a Luthier.  Having played drum and guitar from a young age, he  excelled at the craft, later owning and running two successful Music Repair Centres where he repaired and rebuilt guitars for legends such as Tommy Emanuel.  Music and its instruments remain his passion to this day. 

In his early 20's, Aaron worked his way around the world on SY Phryne, completing over 42000 sea miles.  He began his journey as a deck hand, leaving as First Officer 3 years later.  In that time he honed his skills in all areas of craftsmanship relating to Super yachts.

Since then Aaron has excelled in his field.  Unrivaled in craftsmanship, he has assisted and managed the refit, restoration and maintenance on countless projects.  He has worked on super yachts and other vessels in Italy, France, New Zealand and Australia becoming a world renowned and highly sought after master craftsman.

In 2008, Aaron was one of the leading Project Managers and craftsman on the major overhaul and refurbishment of SY Thaila while she was refitted in New Zealand.  Aaron managed the rework of the interior and exterior Clear Coat finishes, and all other aspects of the vessels interior refit including engine room rebuild and refurbishment of all interior hardware.  He personally and painstakingly restored the helm, one of the largest in the world, to the glorious and enviable piece of art it is today.

Now located in, and servicing, the Gold Coast and Brisbane regions of Queensland, Australia, Aaron continues to excel in his craft.
